Lyric Baritone

Benoît is a lyric baritone. He participated in the Philippe Jaroussky Academy and earned his Master of Performance from the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in 2023. Also an organist, he performs regularly as a soloist or accompanist.

He also holds a specialized diploma (DES) in Medical Biology and a Master’s degree in Biology.

He has won awards at the Tenor Viñas Competition, the Oxford Lieder Festival Young Artist Competition, the Grand Prix at the International Masters of Singing Competition, the Canari International Competition, and the Edith Poulsen Competition; he is a scholarship recipient of the International Opera Awards Foundation, won second prize in the Young Talent category at the International Young Talent Competition in Normandy, and was a finalist for the Jean-Louis Florentz Grand Prix for Organ.

On stage, he has performed the roles of the Count in “The Marriage of Figaro” with Opéra Éclaté and Scapin in “L’Île de Merlin” at the Opéra-Comique in Paris, Moralès and the Dancaïre, in Carmen with the Strasbourg University Orchestra, Willhoughby, in Sense & Sensibility the Musical at Surrey Opera, Escamillo, in Carmen at St Pauls Opera, Guglielmo, in Cosi fan tutte, at Escales Lyriques, Belcore, in L’Elisir d’Amore at Longhope Opera, Walsingham, in A Feast in Time of Plague (Cui) for the Oxford Opera Society or Verschwörer in Der Tzar lässt sich photographeren de Weill, Guildhall Opera.
