A versatile French conductor, Christophe Eliot is a true musician, the kind who gives his all to ensure the music achieves moments of pure grace.

Before dedicating himself to conducting, he studied violin and trumpet at a professional level, performed with some of France's finest orchestras including the Paris Opera and won three prizes at international trumpet competitions.

Christophe Eliot's professional engagements have taken him to conducting the Orchestre National d'Île-de-France, the Marseille Philharmonic Orchestra, the Royal Opera of Versailles Orchestra, the Lorraine National Opera Orchestra, the Mulhouse Symphony Orchestra, the Lyon National Orchestra, and the Prague City Philharmonic Orchestra.

Christophe Eliot conducts music across a wide range of styles from classical repertoire to film scores and jazz with an unwavering commitment to quality and precision in interpretation. He believes that every musical genre deserves to be performed with dedication, and he enjoys discovering new or forgotten works.

His repertoire includes works by Mozart, Haydn, Beethoven, Schubert, Mendelssohn, Berlioz, Dvořák, Debussy, Ravel, Mahler, Stravinsky, Bernstein, Rota, Steiner, and Williams, among others. He has a particular interest in historically informed performance, especially regarding the Classical period.

As the founder and artistic director of the Paris Star Pop Orchestra, Christophe Eliot specializes in "film with live synchronized orchestra" concerts. Notably, he has conducted performances of “Back to the Future” and “Indiana Jones”. and "Star Wars," making him one of the few conductors approved by John Williams. He has collaborated with film composers Howard Shore on "The Lord of the Rings" and Hans Zimmer on his "Hans Zimmer Live" tours, and has performed with jazz singer Melody Gardot at the Olympia in Paris.

His work also includes numerous studio recordings for film, television, advertising, and video games. Notably, he recorded the song "Les Mots bleus" with a string orchestra for Gautier Capuçon’s televised performance on New Year's Eve 2021; pieces by Mozart and Sacchini on period instruments with the Royal Opera of Versailles in 2022; music for the series "Franklin" starring Michael Douglas; and the soundtracks for "The Jungle Bunch 2" and the series "Pil" with the Orchestre National d'Île-de-France in 2023 and 2024.

Working occasionally as an arranger, he has written numerous arrangements for brass ensembles and brass quintets, as well as symphonic orchestrations for the music of the video game “Animal Crossing” and an orchestral suite based on the score for the French film “Quai des brumes” (Port of Shadows) by Maurice Jaubert.

A graduate of the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique de Paris, Christophe Eliot studied under Jean-Sébastien Béreau and Nicolas Brochot and honed his skills in masterclasses with Neeme Järvi, Jorma Panula, Martin Sieghart, Gunther Neuhold, and Alim Shakh. He was also personally invited by Gustavo Dudamel to attend his rehearsals at the Paris Opera during the 2022/2023 season.
